Wednesday, May 2: The Air We Breathe

Air quality in Georgia is improving, but there's still more work to be done.  This special seminar covered how transportation and air quality issues are connected, and the challenges on the horizon for many regions across Georgia.  Attendees heard from air quality experts, including Dr. Jeremy Sarnat, associate professor at the Emory Rollins School of Public Health and Scott Davis, Air Planning Branch Chief with the US Environmental Protection Agency on new insights into health and environmental issues surrounding the air we breathe.  Guests found out how you can protect the health of your employees and reduce your organization's environmental footprint through simple, voluntary actions.  Click here for a recap of what was discussed.
