A vanpool is a group of 7-15 people who ride to and from work together. Vanpoolers save money on gas and car expenses and keep dangerous pollutants out of our air. And vanpools can travel in the uncongested HOV lane, so everyone can kick back and relax (unless you're the driver)! Vendors in the region provide the vehicle, insurance and the maintenance.
RideSmart offers a free service with more than 30,000 potential carpoolers or vanpoolers. Get a list of people who live and work around you by registering online.
RideSmart also offers the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program. Register today, and you may qualify for up to five (5) free rides home or to your car from work annually if an unscheduled, unexpected event occurs.
