Tedra Cheatham, CEcD
Executive Director
Tedra Cheatham joined The Clean Air Campaign as executive director in 2011, leading statewide efforts for cleaner air and less traffic. Previously, Tedra worked to advance economic growth and quality of life initiatives as chief operating officer for the Greater North Fulton Chamber. Her contributions to the success of North Fulton’s development helped foster numerous transportation enhancements and a thriving business community that is home to several Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining the Greater North Fulton Chamber, Tedra held leadership positions overseeing economic development for the north central Texas cities of Bedford and Euless. A Louisiana native, she began her career in government affairs and later worked in the public sector as an analyst for the Louisiana State Senate. Tedra was named to the White House’s deployment team to the Gulf Coast in 2010 to address economic conditions following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
In 2008, Tedra was recognized for her leadership in North Fulton by the American Women’s Business Association. An active member of the community, Tedra helped establish The Drake House, a residential assessment center in Roswell for homeless women and their children. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the International Economic Development Council, a leading organization for professionals in the field of economic development. Tedra earned her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University and her Master of Public Administration from the University of New Orleans.
Brian Carr
Director of Communications
Brian Carr joined The Clean Air Campaign as communications director in April 2008. Prior to becoming communications director, Brian worked for Primerica Financial Services (part of the Citigroup network of companies), where he created successful internal and consumer campaigns.
Earlier in his career, Brian managed print and broadcast advertising during the launch of Cingular Wireless for BBDO Atlanta, an advertising agency. He also founded and ran his own firm for a time, providing grassroots marketing, design and interactive media services for e-commerce and retail clients.
Brian graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a degree in journalism. He and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Pine Lake with their two daughters.
Mike Williams
Director of Employer Services
Mike Williams brings more than 10 years of sales management experience to his position at The Clean Air Campaign. Previously Mike worked for companies providing technology-based business services and solutions, such as InfoMedTek Solutions and Adeptics, Inc. Mike’s expertise in developing, motivating and directing sales professionals helps him lead The Clean Air Campaign’s efforts to partner with employers throughout the region. As director of employer services, Mike is also responsible for spearheading The Clean Air Campaign’s extensive telework services – which includes on-site training of teleworkers and telemanagers, customized program implementation and assessment documentation.
Mike holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech. In addition to his professional experience, Mike is active in his community, volunteering with a number of civic and church organizations and coaching a variety of youth sports teams.
Gretchen Gigley
Director of Education
Gretchen joined The Clean Air Campaign in September 2009. Prior to becoming the Director of Education, Gretchen worked with Ecos Environmental Design, an environmental planning and design firm, where she focused on projects related to master planning, community visioning, and parks and greenspace design.
Earlier in her career, Gretchen worked at Southface Energy Institute as a program manager, where she developed and ran all environmental education K-12 programs and as Lead Teacher with Glenn Memorial School. She continues to be a community advocate for environmental education and children’s health not only through her work at the Clean Air Campaign, but also through her active participation in the Oakhurst Community Garden Green Renovation Project, No Child Left Inside of Georgia, the Farm To School Decatur program, and Greening Youth Foundation.
Gretchen holds a degree in Environmental Health from Ohio University. She completed her Masters of Landscape Architecture at the University of Georgia in 2007 and published “Grounds To Grow: Closing the Design Gap Between Children’s Health and Public Playspace.”
