Clean Air Schools Champions Forum

Connect. Share. Solve. Create.

The Clean Air Champions Forum is a place where Clean Air Schools champions and teachers interested in air quality and transportation can connect with one another and exchange tips, ideas, and helpful content. It’s also a place where The Clean Air Campaign will share news and useful information.

We’re sending out tool kits this week!  In it you’ll find a snazzy new Clean Air Schools clipboard with the things you need to get started with the program - instructions, survey forms, etc.

Before your toolkit arrives, we’d like to pose a question - what is the vision for your program?  What do you want your school zone to look like in one year? Three years? Five years?

What do you want the new students and their families at your school to know about air quality and transportation by the time they leave? With students coming and going each year, how can you establish a strong culture at your school?

We believe that Georgia schools are well-positioned in communities to make a big impact on students, parents, teachers, administrators, and neighbors.   Schools can educate on the relationship between air quality, transportation, health, and safety. They can lead by example by modeling smart choices.  They can cultivate future leaders in who understand the effect of air quality and transportation on Georgia’s health, quality of life and economy.

What do you envision for your school? How can the Champions Forum community and the Clean Air Schools team help you achieve it?

Welcome to the Clean Air Champions Forum!  In our end of the year survey, champions said they want to be able to connect with other champions and learn about what other schools are doing with their programs.

Now they can! This is the place to meet other champions, pose questions, post answers and exchange ideas about air quality resources and fun activities for students.  Problem solving is also part of the purpose of the forum. Want to know how to overcome obstacles to certain problems? Need ideas for efficient, time saving process? Subscribe to the Champions Forum via email or RSS and posts will be sent directly to you.

The Clean Air Schools Team will also be posting on the Champions Forum. Have a question? Share it here and everyone will benefit from the exchange. Thank you for your commitment to our students, our state and our environment.

We look forward to working with you this year!
