Watch How Vanpools Work
Check out this short video about vanpooling, how it works and how commuters benefit from getting to and from work in a van.
By carpooling, you keep pollutants out of the air and reduce traffic. You save money and by using the uncongested HOV lane, you save time. In other words, you're part the solution. You're part of The Clean Air Campaign.
Here's some information to get started.
Find a Carpool Partner
The Clean Air Campaign and RideSmart offer a free service with more than 50,000 potential carpoolers or vanpoolers interested in sharing the ride. Some may live in your neighborhood or work in our building. Get a list of people who live and work around you by registering online.
Guaranteed Ride Home
RideSmart also offers a Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program in metro Atlanta. Register today, and you may qualify for up to five (5) trips home or to your car from work each year if an unexpected event occurs. Please note, you must fill out, sign and return the 2012 application to RideSmart, as well as receive enrollment confirmation, before using the service. Commuters working at employer partners outside Atlanta can use The Clean Air Campaign's GRH program.
