A nonprofit organization helping keep Georgia profitable.

The Clean Air Campaign’s work to reduce traffic and improve air quality is funded primarily through The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and federal CMAQ (Congestion Mitigation for Air Quality) funds programmed by GDOT from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). This funding supports innovative strategies that reduce transportation demand -- among the most cost-effective ways of addressing both traffic and air quality. These demand-based strategies also ensure that Georgia is making the most efficient use of its existing transportation investments. In addition, The Clean Air Campaign, as a nonprofit, also secures private sector and foundation funding to engage in projects and strategies that further expand its impact.
