Intelliverse
Banking on commute options to improve retention
When Intelliverse moved its office from Buckhead to Alpharetta, the human resources director immediately knew that the company would have a hard time retaining employees as commuting distances changed.
To help curb turnover, the company asked The Clean Air Campaign to help find an easier way for employees to get to work. Specifically, Intelliverse wanted to retain employees who lived outside and inside the perimeter, from Stone Mountain to College Park.
The Clean Air Campaign stepped in to provide assistance through transportation fairs and “Try-It Days.” The most effective step was partnering with Intelliverse to provide further incentive opportunities to its workforce with an internal Commuter Rewards Web site so employees could log their commutes and earn rewards from one or more of these programs.
Now, not only are Intelliverse employees saving time and money, but management is happy to report that the company saved money as well, retaining 90 percent of its employee base even with the move!
