Employer representatives from the public and private sector convened in Atlanta for the inaugural 2011 Georgia Telework Summit, a special event held during Georgia Telework Week to bring telework into focus as an emerging workplace strategy

More than 80 people attended the 2011 Georgia Telework Summit, bringing together employers from the public and private sectors to hear from subject matter experts about telework best practices and ideas for implementation.

Panelists representing employers from Coca-Cola Refreshments, UPS,U.S. Department of Labor and other organizations shared expertise on growing successful telework programs at the 2011 Georgia Telework Summit.

Steve Rae, founder of Roam workspace solutions, shares insight on emerging trends for workplaces.  According to Steve, 85% of white collar execs have access to laptop computers and the need for flexible workspace is growing as traditional workplaces and home office environments begin to meet in the middle.
