State and local government are working to keep Georgia great.
The Clean Air Campaign works with hundreds of government partners throughout Georgia to improve their employees’ commutes. We also work closely with the following agencies to make these programs and services available.
Statewide:
- Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) - We work under contract with GDOT to provide a range of programs to improve traffic and air quality throughout the state, with special emphasis on areas in Georgia with air quality challenges.
- Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) – We work with Georgia EPD to increase awareness of air quality issues and to encourage actions that improve it.
Metro Atlanta:
- Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) - We work with the ARC and its RideSmart division as they maintain the ridematching tool and database and the Guaranteed Ride Home program.
- Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) - GRTA manages contracts for the two largest vanpool providers in metro Atlanta, and also runs the Xpress commuter bus program.
