Be part of an exciting team dedicated to improving the quality of life of all Georgians! The Clean Air Campaign seeks to hire an Outreach Intern in Atlanta, Georgia. The job of the intern will be to assist The Clean Air Campaign program staff in the implementation and maintenance of The Clean Air Campaign's regional commuter incentive programs. These incentive programs serve to encourage metro Atlanta commuters to change their commute behavior -- to give up their Single Occupant Vehicles (SOVs) for a 'greener' choice, such as carpooling, vanpooling, taking transit (train or bus), walking, biking, or teleworking (working from home).
Classification: Part-time, hourly
Essential Functions: Responsible for managing the project operations, including but not limited to:
- Assist with administering, organizing, and processing data for commuter incentives programs
- Serve as contact for participants in commuter incentives programs
- Manipulate databases for information processing, including data entry
- Create and update internal program reports and/or related documentation
- Provide administrative assistance and support to the project staff
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a sophomore at an accredited university with a relevant major
- No prior work experience required
- Takes the initiative to learn the standard practices and techniques of the industry
- Is proficient in all non-design software required to accomplish assigned task
- Must have strong computer skills and a demonstrated working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and other Microsoft Office Products
- Must have excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills and experience in handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner
- Must have current valid driver’s license
